1. Chat Room Project is a Success!

It's official. BlastChat! is now our oficial chat room extension. I have tested the capabilities of this program and and will suit our needs for holding study groups. Again the study groups will only be available to registered users on My Class. This will ensure privacy for students currently enrolled in the class.

2. Welcome to My Class!

My Class is a free site for students and managed by students designed for students looking for study groups and other school related resources. My Class is a private site and is not a commercially owned site. My class uses advertisements to support functions and services provided free to students. My Class provides many services, such as an online community, media portals, blogs and college related products (coming soon). My Class provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface that simplifies the management and publishing of large volumes of content including HTML, documents, and rich media. My Class is designed for use by students and is supported by advertisements. We will also be placing a link to make a donation for those who like the site so much and would like to continue to see the site in the future.

3. Chat Room Project Update!

I am currently testing the BlastChat extension. So far it seems to be ok. Any feed back is well appreciated. The BlastChat is only available to registered users and is listed as 'Study Group' in the User Menu. User Menu is only viewable by registered members that are logged in.

4. Calendar Project

OK. Now that I have launched the site it is time to add more services. Whenever I am working on adding a new service I will call it a project and announce it to the My Class community. What I would like to see is a class specific calendar that will allow fellow classmates to plan their day or week better. The idea would be for the calendar to be accessible by community members and be specific to their assignments for their individual class. So far I think I have found an extension that might work called Thyme. I am currently testing and will announce the implementation if it works out to be a good choice.

5. Calendar Project a Success!

My Class is proud to announce the successful implementation of our events calendar. Now you will be able to see which assignments are due on which days specific to your class. All you have to do is select the day and then the calendar related to your class.

6. Chat Room Project

Announcing the Chat Room Project. If we are going to be able to form study groups, My Class needs to be able to support chat rooms. I will be looking for an extension that will handle this need. I will keep everyone posted on the progress.
